AddressWesley Health Training has been training in Australia in Medical Terminology, Allied Health, and Medical Administration for over 20 years.
We are expanding our training team in Brisbane for a range of face-to-face and combined learning (online/zoom) training opportunities. This is a gem of a position for a Qualified Trainer with industry experience in healthcare; with a clinical and customer service approach and focus.
We have a requirement for a Nurse/Trainer for Saturday and Wednesday contract sessions for face-to-face training. Practice Management Trainers are also welcome to apply for suitable units of competency.
The sessions are not every Saturday/Wednesday but rostered sessions.
Tasks and responsibilities :
- Face-to-face training in medical terminology (Cert III Level)
Face-to-face training in healthcare communication and other allied health and healthcare subjects (Cert III-IV Level)
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting - usually an RN, Allied Health or similar
- Experience as a practice manager of medical administrator
- A passion for adult education and mentoring students in industry or entering the industry
- Experience training adult learners in a variety of settings, face-to-face, combined learning, or by online methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and face-to-face
- Current (or to be upgraded) Cert IV TAE Qualification in adult education required for accredited courses

A flexible can-do approach is required, as well as good skills in technology, experience in LMS an advantage, but above all, outstanding communication and training skills to newbies entering the industry.
