Volt Edge is one of the largest privately owned Electrical RTO's in Australia. We conduct Electrical & Safety Training (RTO#32137) at multiple training centres across Australia. We have been in business for more then 12 years and are in an expansion phase. Currently we have 10+ Administration Staff of varying roles with multiple contract and part time trainers and assessors.

To assist students and clients with their electrical training needs, providing excellent customer service and making their learning journey as seamless as possible from start to finish.

We provide efficient quality service and clear communication to ensure the best training outcomes for our students. Our team provides administration support to the business from enquiries, through enrolment and support, to finalising training and issuing outcomes.

Via compliant practices our team works calmly, efficiently and responds quickly to requests for support. We display a positive attitude, flexibility and provide extra help wherever possible.

The Role

As ourTraining Administrator, you will be responsible for the provision of administrative and customer service support for the Training Manager, and the Training team.

The position will be responsible for:

  • Updating and maintaining student records, conducting regular compliance checks and follow ups with students regarding their course progress
  • Processing student enrolments, required pre-requisites and other required documentation
  • Answering incoming calls and email enquiries; re-directing as appropriate
  • Maintain course information and records accurately
  • Assisting with printing course materials, and distribution
  • Ensure that all documents, information and certificates are delivered in a timely manner
  • Providing administrative support to internal teams where required
  • Assisting our trainers with day to day queries and problem solving where required
  • Being prepared to rearrange priorities as per internal and external customer and reporting demands
  • Ensure all actions/practices are in line with the RTOs governing policies, standards and agreements

ABOUT YOU…

  • At least 2 years' experience working in a fast pace office environment.
  • High level interpersonal and time management skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of funding models available to the RTO and Standards for RTOs 2015 (desirable).
  • Excellent computer skills with an intermediate level proficiency in creating documents and spreadsheets 
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Outlook and Microsoft 365 & Office packages.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience working in an RTO is highly desired not essential.
