Access Training Centre (ATC) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in the Training and assessment of High Risk Licensing, as well as delivering nationally accredited training under the VET Quality Framework in the Construction, Resources and Infrastructure, Public Safety, Manufacturing, Mining, Transport, and Logistics Industries.
We have four key training facilities: two in Adelaide (located in Dudley Park and Wingfield) and two in Regional South Australia (Port Augusta and Port Pirie).
About the role:
We're looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Trainer to join our team. As an HSR Trainer, you'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive training on workplace Health and Safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and the duties of Health and Safety Representatives.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (previously known as TAE40116, now superseded by TAE40122)
- Previous experience as an HSR Trainer or similar role
- Appropriate current workplace/industry experience for the specific HSR role
- In-depth knowledge of workplace Health and Safety regulations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Certification in occupational Health and Safety training is a plus.
Candidates should have:
- Current qualifications in Training and Assessment
- Currency of skills
- Police Check (or be willing to obtain)
- Working with Children's Check (or be willing to obtain)
- Regular Fit-for-Work Testing (or be willing to obtain)
