Right now, we are investing heavily in our organisation, and our people. Our Administration Centre is a state-of-the-art facility designed to inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration. The building has been named ‘Yalawanyi Ganya’ which means “sitting/meeting place” in the Gathang language of the indigenous people across the MidCoast Region.
The role & you
Sitting within our Training and Development team this role is responsible for the day to day administration of all things training. Supporting the team to deliver high quality training and development opportunities within the organisation. You will be responsible for issuing invitations, reminders, setting up and packing down training rooms and preparing course material. A part of this role also includes preparing claims and administering training development records.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate in Business Administration and/or demonstrated experience in an Administrative capacity
- Quality customer service skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of the team
- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite and data entry systems/software
The package: Commencing salary package circa $33,000 p.a. plus superannuation.
Location: This position will be based at our Administration Centre in Yalawanyi Ganya at 2 Biripi Way, Taree. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the MidCoast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Part Time 21 hours a week.
