Airnorth is the Territory's leading airline operating a fleet of Embraer 120, Embraer 170 and Embraer 190 Jet Aircraft.
To support company growth, Airnorth are currently recruiting Training and Checking Pilots for the E120 Fleet based in Darwin NT.
Training & Check Captains are responsible for delivering initial type rating training, line training, and conducting cyclic recurrent simulator training and aircraft line checks on company E120 pilots. Suitably qualified personnel will also conduct ATPL and type rating flight tests.
What we look for:
- Australian ATPL, Current Instrument Proficiency Check and a valid Class 1 Medical;
- Prior experience within a Part 121, Part 141/142 organisation conducting:
- Line Training or Checking;
- Simulator Training or Checking or conduct of licence/rating flight tests;
- Ground School Instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of Legislation/Regulations relating to Training and Checking;
- Demonstrated communication skills – written and verbal;
- Current Passport with nil restrictions;
- Ability to hold an ASIC.
Highly Desirable:
- Flight Examiner Rating with IR A, ATPL A or TR flight test endorsements
- Experience in conducting multi-crew pilot flight training (MCC training or FIR-MCP)
- EMB120 Type Rating
Only candidates with a CASA Part 61 Flight Instructor Rating, Simulator Instructor Rating, or Flight Examiner Rating will be considered.
Applicants must also meet the company’s minimum experience levels defined within the company Training and Checking Manual.
