About the Post Separation Services ProgramBerry Street’s Post Separation Services in the Hume Region offer a suite of services to support separated parents who are experiencing entrenched conflict. The key objective of the PSCP model is to reduce the adverse impact of parental conflict, on children and to assist parents to implement and manage cooperative parenting arrangements through the delivery of brief but impactful, psycho educational workshops.The opportunityDeliver, coordinate and promote the Post Separation Co-operative Parenting Program supporting client to move through family conflict.The role will require occasional travel to promote the program with other community services in the Greater Shepparton, Echuca region and surrounds.You will work closely with the Senior worker to deliver new programs as they are developed whilst assisting the team with intake and client support of Post Separation Services.About YouThe successful candidate will have relevant service delivery experience of 12 months or more and be able to demonstrate knowledge of child-focus, culturally sensitive practice and child development theory.Other skills include:Demonstrated knowledge of issues relevant to parental conflict, family separation, domestic violence, child abuse, and court orders.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the principles of equity, diversity, continual improvement, risk management and occupational health and safety.Strong time management skills. Qualification requirements: Minimum Diploma in Social work, Community Services, Psychology or similar.
