Our client, an Australian company specialising in the manufacturing and supply of steel products and services for the construction industry are looking for a Quality Training Officer to take responsibility for delivering training and assessment solutions in Safety and Operations across their production and warehousing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and report on training programs in Production, Logistics, and Service Centres, ensuring all training documentation is completed and recorded.
- Comply with Work Health and Safety training requirements, maintain up-to-date training records, and promote a safe and lean working environment through training and on-the-job coaching.
- Contribute to the development and updating of On-The-Job Training Guides, training materials, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete required reporting for management, assist in preparing training or documentation, and participate in monthly meetings with accurate project forecasts.
- Foster a team environment focused on safety and lean principles, demonstrating leadership, effective time management, multitasking abilities, and strong relationship-building skills with internal customers.
- Maintain high-quality documentation, schedules, and communication, ensuring compliance with company procedures and contractual obligations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a similar Training Officer role
- Attention to detail, team-building, leadership, goal-oriented, multitasking, self-motivation, relationship-building.
- Qualified assessments, knowledge of competency-based training, technical process knowledge, WHSE experience, mentoring skills.
- High-level written and verbal communication, professionalism.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, experience in training, assessment, production, and logistics.
