St John WA is currently seeking a dynamic Training Operations Manager to join our Training and Equipment team on a permanent full-time basis. The Training Operations Manager will ensure the efficient operation of our RTO department and support our strategic objectives. Providing exceptional management of the metro Training Operations team, the successful candidate will ensure the quality-of-service delivery.

Some of the key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Training & Equipment to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage the metro operations team to ensure performance meets expectations.
  • Oversee timely completion of training operational tasks.
  • Schedule classes to meet revenue targets and market demands.
  • Maintain a fully staffed training roster to meet scheduled classes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with trainers and students.
  • Ensure compliance with RTO standards, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate training resources across multiple training facilities.

Skills, experiences, and attributes required:

  • Proven management or team leader level expertise within the scope of this position.
  • Technical proficiency in systems, tools, and processes relevant to the role.
  • Established analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of understanding complex information and making sound judgments based on research.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • High-level verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, evidenced by collaborative working arrangements with diverse stakeholders.
  • Background in training, health, community, or commercial sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at a manager or team leader level.
  • Track record of leading high-performing teams and achieving results.
