Cleared are currently supporting agencies within the national intelligence space, who are looking to engage TSPV resources for long term contract engagements in Canberra.

We are looking to speak to Training Specialists, across all levels. The Role:

The Training Specialist will work under limited direction to lead the design, creation, packaging and maintenance of training materials for DEF100 delivered ICT capabilities. Duties will include the design and development of training materials, facilitate and coordinate training packages, and assist in the delivery of training material for the intended purpose and audience, including the delivery of train-the-trainer packages and direct user training.
The incumbent will be required to function within broad guidelines and be willing to identify solutions to common administrative problems. They will need to be a self-starter and have an ability to work within strict timeframes.
The program of work has multiple projects which range in size. The successful candidate may be required to work across several of these and will need a proven ability to work within an integrated team of technical/non-technical personnel.

Other Skills and Knowledge

1. Strong proficiency in multiple course‑authoring tools and video and sound editing software (such as iSpring, Camtasia and/or Audacity).
2. Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) to manage and track training courses.
3. Proven creativity, attention to detail and organisation ability to deliver impactful training initiatives.

Major Responsibilities

1. Facilitate and coordinate in-person and/or online training activities to increase stakeholder knowledge and proficiency of DEF100‑delivered ICT capabilities.
2. Design, create and develop training courses and instructional materials using course‑authoring tools, and video and sound editing software.
3. Collaborate with project members, subject matter experts and/or business areas to identify training gaps and develop tailored learning solutions to address them.
4. Actively seek feedback to evaluate effectiveness of training courses and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
5. Ability to translate business requirements into training courses/programs.
6. Tailor and present complex information to a variety of audiences in an engaging and accessible way to achieve learning objectives.

Due to the nature of the work, you will need to hold a current or inactive TSPV Clearance. This is non-negotiable. Canberra based, with limited travel required within Australia.
