Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.

The Transformation Portfolio Delivery Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for the project management function across the transformation. The role will oversee the implementation of project management methodologies, standards, and tools, and is responsible for ensuring that projects are managed and reported on in a consistent and meaningful way. This information will be used to ensure that there is a consistent and unified approach to tracking the projects.

This role is a 12 month parental leave backfill - fixed term with a required start date of late April/ early May.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the project management function throughout the transformation process.
• Oversee the implementation of project management methodologies, standards, and tools to ensure that projects are able to report in a consistent and meaningful way, to the highest quality standards.
• Portfolio/Program Deliver Assurance - coordinate with internal assurance capability across the group support functions as well as managing the external assurance partner and drive the improvement activities identified to uplift capability and quality of project delivery and reduce risks. 
• Ensure that the project management team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver successful projects, including coaching and mentoring.
• Drive continuous improvement in the project management function by identifying and implementing best practices.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues, and making recommendations for corrective actions to ensure project success.
• Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, and ensure that these are effectively communicated and utilised by all stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment through supporting their team to deliver successful outcomes.
   

Now let’s talk about you

• 7+ years of experience as a  Program Manager, Senior PMO Manager or similar role.
• A proven track record of managing large, complex programs, and is well-versed in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to support delivery.
• Relevant qualifications and or extensive experience in project management.
• Experience working with Planview (Strategic Portfolio Management solution)  
• Experience in change management
• Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders towards utilising the PPM tools whilst being open to feedback and differing perspectives on the tools.
• An excellent communicator, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the program
• Ability to foster strong relationships with team members, program stakeholders and vendors.
• A strategic thinker, with the ability to analyse complex situations, identify trends and patterns, and develop creative solutions to achieve the program's objectives.
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in the project management function.
