Qantas Loyalty has established a fit-for-purpose, multi-disciplinary team to help accelerate the Group’s ambitious growth and innovation agenda; partnering with business units to validate, define and deliver the next wave of core, adjacent and disruptive plays.

    As the Portfolio Delivery Manager (Hotels & Holidays), you are responsible for supporting the business in delivering its strategy and achieving its ambitious growth targets through prioritising initiatives, managing the quarterly planning cadence and tracking of key milestones as well as showcasing progress towards identified metrics and removing or escalating risks or blockers to ensure our agility.

    The role is accountable for the design, development, implementation (including change management), adherence and continuous improvement of the governance systems and regular performance cadences and artefacts. You will lead engagement with key stakeholders across the business with the ability to influence at executive level, effectively managing prioritisation across the portfolio, including capital and resource allocation to mobilise and accelerate key initiatives driving towards our strategy and goals.

    As the Portfolio Delivery Manager (Hotels & Holidays) you will also have Delivery Manager responsibilities on priority projects. You will guide and coach multiple teams in the adoption of the Agile mind-sets, behaviours, and best practices to facilitate their transition to high performing teams.

    In addition, you will provide people leadership, management, coaching and mentoring to ensure individual growth, development and performance.

    You’ll have:

  • 5+ years’ end-to-end delivery experience in a scaled agile environment, including experience as an Agile Delivery Manager or Agile Project Manager leading multiple cross functional teams in a growth-focused digital and data-driven environment
  • Highly developed strategic thinking coupled with strong analytical, governance and execution experience
  • Business related degree or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Expert stakeholder management skills, assertive communication skills, and strong influencing and problem-solving skills across disciplines at all levels including C-level
  • An organised and process-orientated capability with confidence to quickly identify key issues, self initiate interventions and structure a plan and develop strategic options/drive performance
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrable ability in influencing, negotiating, managing diverse teams, establishing and running cross functional initiatives/teams, delivering outcomes in a time sensitive environment and managing change
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and innovate
  • Involvement in new business development and implementation.
  • Extensive workshop planning and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to create/work in and contribute to a high performing , collaborative and fun team environment for people to innovate and learn.
  • Resourceful and highly organised with proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in guiding and coaching multiple teams in the adoption of the Agile mind-sets, behaviours, and best practices to facilitate their transition to high performing teams.
  • Experience in effectively managing and communicating complex risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Proficient in multiple agile frameworks at scale (SAFE, LESS etc.)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or other agile certifications.
