We are establishing a 12 month appointment pool for vacancies that may arise. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Applicants may also be considered for similar positions within South Regional TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool. The Transition Consultant participates in the identification and implementation of training and other opportunities to meet existing workforce requirements while also supporting the ability of workers impacted by transitions away from their existing industry to gain employment into the future.The position, through a client-centred, case management approach will work with employers, employees, and training organisations to provide leadership and practical assistance to enable employees to make individual, tailored transitions.To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in, or an understanding of, vocational training, including the components of training packages and qualifications. You will also be someone who has initiative and resilience when working to solve problems at an individual level to achieve the best outcomes for ongoing employability. The ability to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills and compassionate understanding of the effects of workforce transitions will be highly regarded.Work Benefits
