About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join new teams across multiple states and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our networks.

We are currently seeking multiple qualified Transmission Lineworkers to join our team and support Zinfra's growing program of work. These positions will offer the opportunity to deliver multiple projects across Australia's dynamic energy industry, ensuring the safety and reliability of our assets.

We now have positions available across all of Australia: Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory.

Base salary between $95,472 + superannuation up to $101,088 + superannuation.

Working on a 9 day fortnight with FIFO roster available across Australia's remote sites.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
  • Climbing of Transmission structures
  • Undertake maintenance inspections of electricity transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
  • Undertake the construction activities for new Transmission Lines Projects
  • Undertake minor ancillary works as required

About You

  • Hold a Certificate III ESI in Transmission Overhead and/or Electrical licence (state dependent)
  • Working at Heights Rescue
  • Construction White Card
  • High risk work licence
  • Dogging & Rigging licence
  • Maintain energised lines
  • CPR Trained
  • Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment
  • Experience working in high-risk environments.
