Supply Chain and Logistics
Are you a Transport and Customs Professional looking for a new challenge? Vestas Australia has an exciting opportunity for you to join their Regional Transport Team. This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end transport solutions across the Asia Pacific region. Working in a global environment, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with regional and global functions. Join a team of 21 employees spread across 6 different locations and be a part of Vestas' ever-growing success .
Manufacturing and Global Procurement> COO APAC> Outbound Transport APAC
Responsibilities:
Ensure safe, timely and cost-effective delivery to wind farm locations in close collaboration with construction, procurement and quality teams.
Coordinate loading and unloading of materials at storage areas, project site.
Coordinate deliveries and delivery changes with all involved stakeholders.
Publish delivery schedules and communicate delivery changes with all involved stakeholders.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in case of delays and damages.
Investigate and support problem-solving of delivery and transport quality issues.
Monitor and report transport risks.
Prepare Transport scope of supply for Procurement
Supplier Performance Management of service providers.
Support sales activities in developing optimum logistics solution for projects.
Qualification:
5+ years of working in the logistics field
Demonstrated experience in Material Handling and logistics operations of containerized cargo.
Good experience of complaint handling, business planning and risk assessment
Competencies:
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Good Stakeholder management skills.
Excellent time management skills
Comprehensive knowledge of logistics operations and practices
In-depth knowledge and hands-on execution on Customs Clearance
Proficient SAP & MS Office knowledge
