Lycopodium is currently seeking a talented Transport and Logistics Lead to join our exciting new copper-gold mega project team in South Asia.
This will be a world class Greenfields EPCM project on a 6:3 roster for an approximate 3-5 year duration. We welcome expats located anywhere globally willing to commit to the travel requirements for this challenging opportunity.
The tasks you'll perform
- Co-ordinate with construction teams and plan transport movements efficiently to meet client requirements
- Manage personnel to maintain processes in ensuring the timely and efficient movement of materials
- Collaborate with client and appropriate stakeholders, to ensure Transport and Logistics can meet required demand with the required inputs
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with the appropriate transport policies and procedures
The expertise you'll bring
- Minimum 9 years experience in transport or logistics with supervisory duties ideally in a construction environment in remote locations
- Knowledge of Transport Regulations and processes including Fatigue and Chain of Responsibility
- Ability to lead, delegate and preform to a high standard
- Effective communication skills at a cross cultural level
- Literacy with IT and communications technology ie: MS Office
This role will suit an experienced Transport and Logistics leader with exceptional, organizational skills, who thrives on challenge and the opportunity to work with an international team of seasoned experts using the best EPCM practices.
