ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Transport Operations Coordinator based in the Eastern Suburbs you will be responsible for preparing and presenting reports on traffic and parking related issues to the Traffic Committee, highlighting key findings, recommendations and proposed solutions. Applying technical standards and guidelines in reviewing transport designs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
DUTIES.
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of signage changes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Review transport infrastructure and design proposals
- Implement effective parking solutions to address congestion, accessibility and safety concerns
- Monitor and assess traffic conditions and patterns, identifying areas of concern and proposing strategies for improvement
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Local Government experience is highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of NSW Road Rules
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
