We are seeking a Transport Operations Supervisor to plan & execute runs for upto 25 drivers, whilst also monitoring drivers to ensure delivery windows are met, communicating with customers & utilising fleet for the most productive outcome.
This role would suit someone with high desire to be challenged each day, KPI driven and thrives off continuous improvement.
To be successful you will have:
- Ability to work in a team, whilst able to escalate through to management when required.
- Previous success in a Transport Operations supervisor role
- Experience in route planning freight
- Excellent communication, time management skills and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to deal with customers both internal and external in a professional manner
- Your own reliable transport
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Route planning for upto 25 drivers.
- Pro-actively monitoring to ensure on time performance to our customers.
- Fleet utilisation & dead leg removal.
- Maintenance of your assigned fleet
- Ensuring all loads and information are captured and PODS returned for invoicing.
