SalaryBy joining this leading Transport business providing regional express freight transport services throughout NSW, you will be given the challenge of supervising its PUD fleet and drivers in the AM shift at its head depot in Sydney’s Western suburbs. You will work also use your strong knowledge and experience in transport safety systems and procedures to be a key player in achieving compliance.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety, efficient vehicle utilisation and high driver productivity to achieve optimum service levels.
You will most likely be post-secondary qualified in transport and/or business logistics and have a strong background in PUD driver and fleet supervision, training and safety compliance, preferably with a dynamic NSW freight transport company.
Your excellent knowledge of regional NSW transport routes and hubs will be a strong advantage as well as a current forklift licence.
Strong supervision, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills along with a great work ethic and can-do attitude, are most important in this key AM Shift position with an Australian regional transport leader.
