- Annual Salary Range: $103,920 - $125,735 per annum plus superannuation

About the Team
Transport Services is a Group within the Department of Transport, and is responsible for delivering safe, reliable and accessible transport infrastructure and services to all Victorians.
Regional Transport is a Division of Transport Services, and is responsible for delivering a better transport experience connecting regional communities, businesses and visitors.
About the Opportunity
The Transport Planner will support the Department's regional transport planning team's role in shaping the future transport system to deliver a prosperous, connected and liveable Victoria. The role will work collaboratively across the transport portfolio, other government departments and agencies, Regional Partnerships and local government to advance integrated land use and transport planning in regional Victoria. This role will ensure the transport system delivers on the intention of the Transport Integration Act. Particularly ensuring users are at the centre of planning and that planning is done in an integrated manner across all modes and with land use planning.

- Strategic Planning to visualise the big picture level; entertains wide-ranging possibilities in developing a vision for the future
- Environmental Scanning to monitor external sources and identifies underlying trends
- Excellent written communication to prepare complex briefs, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
- Gains agreement to proposals and ideas
