The Monadelphous Heavy Lift team provides world class Heavy Lifting service, using an extensive range of state-of-the-art cranes and equipment. Our team of in-house specialists bring a wealth of global experience to every lifting solution, whether it's a stand-alone lifting job or a fully integrated, multi-disciplinary work package. Due to our continued growth in the Heavy Lift Team, we are seeking experienced Self-Profelled Transporter (SPMT) Technician to join our team to be either FIFO from their home country, Perth, Interstate, or local to the project location.
As an experienced Heavy LiftTransport Specialist, you will be responsible for planning & managing the safe conduct of all specialised Heavy Lift and transport work undertaken by the workforce under their control and for fully understanding safety requirements and standards. In this role you'll need to play a part in the safe execution of complex works using specialised Heavy Lift/transport equipment
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 3 years Supervision experience within Heavy Lift/Heavy Haul scopes, ideally in a construction project environment.
- Previous experience in SPMT Operation (Cometto experience would be advantageous).
- An ability to demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems on SPMT's & specialised Heavy Lift equipment.
- Ability to plan large transport operations (involving RoRo) and interpret technical/engineering documents relevant to transport operations in line with site procedures and site hazards.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Experience in delivering safe and reliable service solutions while focusing on client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proof of right to work in Australia.
