Required attributes:
- Excellent organisation, time management and accounting/administration skills.
- Experience with GDS & Back Office Software – Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre preferred by not essential (conversion/training can be provided).
- Ability to work autonomously and be your own boss within an established Travel Agency
Tasks & responsibilities
- Interact with clients to understand their travel requirements. • Handle travel requests promptly via phone and email.
- Provide personalized service, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Utilize GDS platforms (Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus) to book flights, hotels, and car rentals.
- Optimize travel budgets by recommending cost-effective options.
- Process self-ticketing transactions efficiently.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with travel policies.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
- Provide timely updates on travel arrangements.
Qualifications Desired:
- Past Retail Travel Agency experience is a must.
- Strong understanding of air fares and ticketing
- Solid GDS knowledge- GALILEO, SABRE or AMAEUS is a must.
- Self-ticketing experience, preferable.
- Excellent communication skills- Both verbal and written.
- Professional, self-motivated and able to work part of a team.
