Omega Medical are looking for adventurous, hardworking and compassionate RNs that are looking to travel the country whilst working at Rural Multi Purpose facilities in need for a period of 4+ weeks.

About us:
Omega Medical specializes in assisting employers to find the medical and healthcare talent required for temporary, locum, or permanent positions.
We take a hands-on approach when working with our nurses, assisting with the onboarding process and offering continuous communication throughout your contracts.
Your duties:
- Work as part of a collaborative team looking after patients and providing high quality Nursing care
- Coordinate care plans, medication administration, continuous patient assessment, reporting and clinical documentation.
- Use your clinical skills to triage, assess and care for patients that present to the emergency department.
- Liaise with management, patient relatives, and a multi disciplinary team of healthcare practitioners.
- Promote a safe working environment for all patients and staff. Work within your scope of practice whilst referring to the code on conduct.
- Coordinate admissions and discharges and liaise with hospital management
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Masters/Bachelor of Nursing
- Experience in rural nursing and Emergency Departments
- Good clinical skills and ability to work on your feet with initiative
- Knowledge/experience of eMR systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
- Experience in working with rural communities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people highly desired but not required.
