It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.Day-to-day, you will:
- Support the execution of key funding tasks in accordance with the Transurban Group’s funding plan
- Assist with the development of the semi-annual and annual five-year debt funding plan
- Provide accurate information, analysis and insight to internal and external customers, including debt investors
- Drive process improvements and engage internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Treasury Policy
- Support the Funding and Legal teams in the preparation of documentation for funding transactions
- Always strive to do things better, working with the team to identify and execute key commercial business improvement initiatives.
- Get involved in ad hoc projects and Treasury funding activities when required
- Relevant tertiary education in Finance, Business, Commerce etc
- Ideally, you’ll have a couple of years’ experience in a similar type role within a large corporate organisation but a passion for Treasury and Financial Markets and a willingness to learn is equally important
- Knowledge of excel and some experience in creating basic financial models
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise and escalate appropriately
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills and ability to present ideas, findings and recommendations in a clear and engaging way
- Most importantly, you will be eager to learn, inquisitive and able to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
