An exciting opportunity exists for a full time Treatment Plant Supervisor to join Isaac Regional Councils Water & Wastewater team, based in the Southern part of the Isaac region - Dysart / Middlemount / Clermont. The Treatment Plant Supervisor position is responsible the day-to-day supervision of Isaac Regional Council’s Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, bulk storage dams and raw water sources where relevant with a strong focus on safety, quality and environmental legislative compliance and reporting.
For this position we offer:
- Base Salary $89,940.83 - $93,135.19 per annum (Level 5 – Stream A) plus Allowances;
- Nominally 38 hours per week + Option for Overtime/On Call;
- 5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% loading;
- Up 13.5% super (in accordance with IRC's Certified Agreement);
- Fortnightly RDO’s in accordance with Council policy;
- 15 days personal leave per annum
- Limited private use vehicle;

- Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (both water and wastewater disciplines) are mandatory;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge in the analysis and diagnosis of water and wastewater result deviations.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of MS Office suite.
- Accredited qualification in Supervision/Leadership;
- Demonstrated supervisory experience in the operation of water and wastewater Treatment Plants;
- Construction Induction Safety Induction (white) card (or ability to obtain);
- Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
