Tree Industry - Stump Grinder Operator

The Tree Services division of Thomas Contracting is a fast growing and highly reputable Arboricultural services business that is committed to providing high quality, safe and professional tree removal and pruning services to Civil, Commercial, State & Local Government and the Domestic Tree Industry.  

We are seeking applications to fill the position of Stump Grinder Operator throughout Perth Metro and Regional Areas of WA.

Prior experience as a Stump Grinder Operator in the Tree Industry will be highly advantageous but not essential.

The position will require the successful applicant to work well with no supervision. You will be required to maintain both the vehicle and machinery to an extremely high standard and complete required job dockets and paperwork on a daily basis, including DBYD enquiries via phone app. The role is best suited to a highly motivated and organised person.

There will be days where you will be required to work with the Tree Crew as a labourer assisting the Arborist and the rest of the ground crew.

Upon successful completion of a probationary period full time employment with ongoing industry training will be offered to the right applicants.

Pre-employment medical and random drug and alcohol testing must be passed as part of Thomas Contracting's commitment to providing a safe, drug free workplace.

• Chainsaw Ticket
• Current Manual Drivers Licence - Essential
• MR Truck Licence
• White Card - Essential
• Police Clearance
