Tree Maintenance Crew - Arborists / Labourers

Thomas Contracting is a professional commercial Tree Maintenance company delivering vegetation maintenance throughout the Wheatbelt region and is fully committed to supporting local businesses and equal opportunity in the local community.

Thomas Contracting is seeking local applicants from the Wheatbelt south region for the above mentioned position and Aboriginal persons are encouraged to apply.(Under section 51 of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984)

Prior tree industry experience, minimum MR truck driving license and residing in the Narrogin, Williams and Northam regions may be advantageous however not essential.

The successful applicant will be required to pass pre-employment and periodical drug and alcohol testing and perform physical work as part of a team in varying weather conditions close to live traffic.

The applicant will also be required to be reliable, stay away from home on weekdays when required and conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times.

Hours are typically 45 per week Monday to Friday and a probationary period of up to three months will apply to be considered for a full time position.

Labourers / Truck Drivers – Prior experience not essential.

Previous experience not essential as on the job training will be provided.

• Wood Chipper Ticket
• Current Manual Drivers Licence - Essential
• MR Truck Licence
• White Card - Essential
• Police Clearance - Essential
