How you’ll make a difference
Do you want to be part of the team responsible for supporting the Naturally Unique Theme of the City which aims to increase the coverage of trees across the City.
Our Open Spaces Maintenance Unit are seeking to appoint a Tree Planting Inspector, based in Coombabah, to undertake inspections of juvenile trees planted within the City..
You will utilise your technical knowledge and organisational skills to carry out tree inspections and assist with operational tree maintenance programs safely, effectively and efficiently for the Gold Coast.
- Undertake routine contractor audits to ensure all juvenile tree maintenance is undertaken in accordance with the specification of the contract.
- Provide specialist advise to internal stakeholders.
- Assist the Juvenile Tree Supervisor in daily operations.
What you bring to your new role
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of using sound judgement to make decisions.
- A “can do” attitude.
- The ability to solve problems in a complex environment.
- Effective time management skills and ability to plan your own work.
- Diploma in Horticulture/Arboriculture (Mandatory).
- C Class Driver’s Licence (Mandatory).
- General Construction Induction White Card.
