We're on the hunt for an Breakfast Announcer to join our Triple M Team based in Karratha.
After 40 years, Triple M continues to be one of Australia's best-known radio entertainment brands and the only radio network that provides its listeners with a unique combination of Rock's Greatest Hits, Sport and Comedy.

We have a rare opportunity for a Breakfast Announcer superstar to join our high-performing team. You will be responsible for delivering compelling and well targeted content to our treasured listeners. By maintaining a constant flow of creative ideas and integrating them into the station's shows on a daily basis, you'll help ensure that only fresh and relevant content goes to air!
Naturally, we are looking for people who are quick on their feet and are relentless in the generation of creative ideas and outside the box thinking. You will have an exceptional way with words and be able to put this to paper through the creation of entertaining and contemporary scripts. The successful candidates need to STAND OUT from the crowd… How you do that… is completely up to you!
In this role, you will work closely with the Content Director to ensure the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent local communication, effective tactical planning/execution and on air work that makes you stand out. You should embrace the Triple M lifestyle and community though our many content outlets, including; on-air, social and digital.
Karratha is one of the fastest growing cities in WA with new cafes, restaurants and Red Earth Arts Precinct. Karratha is a great community for families and is a gateway to great beaches, swimming, camping, fishing, diving, four-wheel driving, hiking, and exploring the traditional culture of the Pilbara Region.
Accommodation in a modern private apartment located in town is included in this role.
Experience we're looking for:
- Be passionate about our Triple M audience and rock's greatest hits!
- Be competent with commercial radio music scheduling experience.
- Have knowledge of Zetta & G Selector.
- Have an understanding of CRA's Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
- Proficiency in driving the panel and being pro-active in all facets of your role to take your own career to the next level.
- Enjoy popular culture, social media, current affairs and local events; with a passion for taking content to the next level, both on air and on digital!
- A reliable, hardworking and results driven individual who's able to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
