AddressLocal to Tasmania, Core Talent's Trade & Labour division are excited to be partnering with a local leader in the search for a 10 Yarder operator on a fixed term, contractual arrangement.
The ideal candidate will operating in a civil construction environment, transporting earthworks materials and equipment to and from job sites safely and efficiently. This position requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Heavy Ridged Truck (10 Yarder) in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper loading and securing of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
Requirements:
- Current HR Truck license combined with a clean driving record.
- Experienced in tipper operations, preferably in a civil construction environment.
- Knowledge of industry safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks if required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
