In this role, you'll:
- Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as a MR Truck Driver for the Orange Maintenance Crew
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow.
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
- In addition to the above, there may be requirements to work outside of normal working hours and away from home.
We are seeking those that reside within a 60 km distance from the Orange depot.

About you:
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment. You will have the following tickets and experience:
- White Card
- MR Driver Licence
- Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
- A strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
