Truck Driver

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a position within the Lifeline Molendinar Distribution Centre for a Truck Driver on a Full Time basis. In this role you will you will work alongside our distribution centre staff and volunteers to coordinate and execute pickup and delivery of donated goods. You will be intrusted to be a representative of the Lifeline and wider UnitingCare Qld brand as you will regularly deal with customers who have kindly donated items.

What you'll need

You will have previous experience in a multi-drop environment where general labouring and forklift work where a regular part of your day to day responsibilities. Supplementing this you will have sound communication skills with the ability to demonstrate strong customer care.

This role requires you to hold a minimum of a MR license and in addition it is preferred that you also hold a forklift licence. We are looking for someone who has  availability Monday to Friday 6:30am-2:30pm.

The inherent requirements of this role are physically demanding you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting, standing and walking.
