The Role
The Truck Loader role will see you apply your experience in a similar environment to interpret orders, select the appropriate stock, and operate a range of equipment to load trucks for delivery. You will also have the opportunity to undertake the delivery driver role from time to time to support the broader Metroll team and ensure delivery timelines are met.
This role would suit someone who has experience loading trucks for delivery and may have experience using a vehicle mounted crane (not essential), works well in a team, can apply their excellent communication skills and work safety using a range of equipment.
Duties
All applicants will be required to hold a forklift license (LF) ,and will need to undergo pre-employment medical including drug screening prior to commencement. All applicants must have full unlimited Australian Working Rights.

Duties
- Interpret orders and pick and load trucks for efficient delivery
- Safely operate a range of equipment including vehicle mounted truck cranes maintaining a safe work environment at all times
- Work effectively in a team with a range of stakeholders
- Relief driving if appropriate license held (HR/HC)
- Undertake 12 midday to 8pm shifts Monday to Friday
- Ability to work afternoon shift from 12 midday to 8pm
- Forklift (LF) license is essential
- Previous experience in an order picking and truck loading role
- Excellent teamwork, communication and customer service skills
- Heavy Rigid (or above) driver’s license would be highly regarded
- Experience in a truck delivery driver role would be highly regarded
- Operation of vehicle mounted crane would be highly regarded
- Ongoing full-time 12 midday to 8pm afternoon shift role in a supportive team environment
- Monday to Friday, 38hrs - no weekends
