Position Description
The position is a Monday - Friday position. Tasks encountered on a daily basis in this position are…
- Replacing Auto/Duonic gearbox clutches (Canters, NNR, NPR, Hino 300).
- Reconditioning ZF Gearboxes (Isuzu FVM, Hino 700).
- Inspections and checking of gearboxes, diffs, engines.
- Other mechanical work including removing heads & cranks from engines etc.
- Assisting and working with other mechanics in the workshop.
Candidate Requirements
- Trade Certificate Cert III Mechanic.
- Have knowledge and experience with Japanese truck gearboxes.
- Have safe work habits and the ability to follow procedures.
- Have attention to detail and take pride in your work.
- Have a helpful and positive attitude.
- Drivers License, ideally Forklift license.
