Job Description: As a Rental Fleet Manager at Stallion Rentals, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our fleet operations and ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing our diverse fleet of vehicles, coordinating their maintenance schedules, and cultivating positive customer relationships. This position requires a blend of operational expertise, customer service skills, and leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management:
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
- Coordinate the acquisition and disposal of fleet vehicles as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization and minimize downtime.
- Monitor vehicle performance and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintenance Coordination:
- Coordinate regular servicing, repairs, and inspections to uphold vehicle reliability and safety.
- Liaise with external service providers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Address any maintenance issues promptly to minimize disruptions to rental operations.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Interact with customers to understand their rental needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Handle inquiries, reservations, and rental agreements in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns efficiently, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in the rental sector, with a focus on fleet management and customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Sound decision-making skills, with the capacity to resolve issues and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and empower team members to achieve collective goals.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including fleet management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- A valid MR license required and a clean driving record.
