Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance and property management? Look no further! We are seeking a Trust Accounts Officer to join a dynamic and innovative property agency based in the Perth CBD.
Your new role

• Trust Accounting: Manage and maintain trust accounts for strata transactions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
• Financial Transactions: Process rental payments, owner disbursements, and other financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including end-of-month statements and trust account summaries.
• Compliance: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure adherence to trust accounting standards.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders, addressing enquiries related to trust accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience: Experience within residential trust accounting or similar role.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in trust accounting software (e.g., REST Professional, Strata Master, Property Tree or something similar).
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision in handling financial data.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
