The HQ is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.  with our Australian region, boasting a fleet of over 30 vessels across multiple ports along the East Coast, where we pride ourselves on our safety culture, work ethic and commitment to the environment.  Due to rapid and ongoing expansion we are seeking expressions of interest from dynamic and experienced GPH to join our growing Port Botany team.

Job Description

  • General maintenance of vessels, and equipment
  • To ensure that the safety management system is followed and maintained with particular emphasis on  the correct use and application of PPE, safety equipment, Check-lists and all other safety precautions relating to job and task performance with particular emphasis on the protection of the environment and pollution prevention.
  •  Perform as required in all deck and associated areas, tasks and work relating to cosmetic maintenance, painting, cleaning, loading, moving, stowing and discharging stores, equipment and related tasks in accordance with all safe working practices.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensuring day to day compliance with relevant regulation
  • To ensure the vessel operates efficiently and incident free.

Qualifications

The successful applicant(s) must hold a valid AMSA Certificate of Competency:

All successful applicants must have an AMSA Medical & MSIC.

Applicants must reside within the Sydney region to be considered for these positions.
