The 18-hole course at RACV Cape Schanck Resort is highly regarded, not just for its appeal to both the occasional golfer and the serious player, but also for its magnificent setting at the southernmost tip of the Mornington Peninsula. We’re looking for a Qualified Turf Tradesperson or Groundsperson to join the team on a permanent ongoing basis.
A day in the life
Our Turf Tradesperson is responsible to maintain our resort grounds and to ensure our superbly manicured greens and fairways always provide excellent year-round playing conditions.
You’ll be looking after irrigation system maintenance, driving our program for preventative maintenance and managing external contractors when required.
In the role, you’ll report directly to the Course Superintendent and will be provided with support from the Assistant Course Superintendent. You’ll use your strong communication skills and promote team morale to work with your fellow Grounds colleagues.

We’re looking for…
- A solid understanding of golf course maintenance and landscaping.
- Knowledge of irrigation and water quality systems.
- Aptitude to operate, repair and maintain equipment.
- Physical capability to perform manual work.
- The ability to identify and apply chemicals as well as ID turf grasses, plants, pests and diseases.
