FIFO Jobs are 8:6 X Perth
Yoiu job will be primarily day shift with occasional night shift duties for unexpected outages. Also the occasional travel to other operating sites may also be a requirement.
For the best candidate, relocation to Perth from other Australian states and Territories will be considered.
HV Electrician
You will need to be:
Experienced at performing electronic & electrical control circuit trouble shooting.
Have a good understanding of hydraulic systems associated with wind turbine equipment.
Experienced at working with high pressure hydraulic torque and tension tooling.
AND of course have experience in Power Station / Generation.
Your Qualifications
Electrical and Instrumentation trade qualifications (Australian Recognised)
HV Switching Ticket
Current EWP, Working at Heights & High Risk - DG & CN tickets.
Mechanical Power Station OMT
Your Qualifications and Skills:
Australian Mechanical trade qualification
Mechanical Field Service Diesel Power Generation or Engines experience.
Experience in Aeroderivative or Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines will be highly regarded.
Working with Steam, Boiler and Water Treatment will be considered highly.
Experience in Control Systems.
Mechanical Operational Control Centre Operator
This position is residential in Kalgoorlie/ Kambalda working a roster of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 off.
Temporary accommodation in Kalgoorlie is available for the short term until you find permanent accommodation. Our client will also assist with relocation costs for the right person.
Some of the duties your job will entail:
Monitor and maintain system network and engine performance in order to determine the reliability assets, and any risks and opportunities. Ensure the operation and dispatch of assets is performed to meet all operational targets maximizing efficiencies.
Perform daily rounds and inspections including remote data collection and analysis of engines and plant.
Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance to balance of plant and engine systems.
Troubleshoot problems with plant equipment and raise notifications to alert Maintenance personnel.
Identify and select appropriate generating assets to utilize based on real time system requirements according to a Contract Model.
It is a requirement to travel to all Goldfields operating sites from time to time.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
Must have Australian recognised Mechanical trade with Boiler Turbine tickets.
Have previous experienced of power generation, transmission and distribution
Must Understand hydraulic systems associated with wind turbine equipment.
Working with Steam, Boiler and Water Treatment will be considered highly.
Experience in Control Systems.
For all of the roles you will also have:
A Valid manual C class Australian Drivers Licence
Working knowledge of and the ability to interpret mechanical, electrical and P&ID drawings, and specifications.
Must be able to work in hot & cold environments, at heights and within confined spaces.
Understanding of power generation, transmission and distribution.
Ability to work with high pressure hydraulic torque and tension tooling.
Intermediate computer skills (email, word, spread sheet, and databases-SAP).
Be proficient in the use of available tools (eg; drawings, trends, Maintenance Manuals, reports etc.) to proactively identify risks to gas and diesel engine health and efficiency.
Demonstrate an understanding of the Work Management process as it applies to work history documentation in SAP (Notifications, work orders, Purchase Orders etc.)
