We are currently seeking an experienced Turret Punch / Machine Operator / Sheet Metal Worker
Your key duties in this role will include:
- Setting up and operation of CNC turret Punch – uploading programs, nesting, setting, and operating.
- Operating guillotine, press break, aluminium CNC saws and CNC drills.
- Responsible for the efficient flow of work to meet company production objectives.
- Quality assurance – identify non-conformances and report accordingly.
- Material usage management using company MRP system.
- Regular maintenance in line machine maintenance schedule.
- Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Adhering to PPE and safety policies.
Qualifications, skills, and experience required:
- Trade or related qualification.
- Turret punch setting up and operation.
- Guillotine operation desired but not essential.
- Press break operation desired but not essential.
- Prior experience within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret basic drawings.
- Attention to detail and an eye for quality.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good degree of physical fitness / manual handling experience.
- Own reliable transport.
- Forklift ticket desired but not essential.
