Job Description:Downer are currently sourcing
Sheet Metal Worker's and Lagger's for local Kwinana shutdown works starting in May 2024.Our Industrial & Energy Services business provides end-to-end facilities management and asset lifecycle support services for Australia's critical social and economic infrastructure. Operating across the health, education, government, future energy, power generation, oil and gas and industrial sectors, we work closely with our customers to optimise the reliability, efficiency and whole of life costs of their assets and facilities.
POSITION SUMMARYJoin our team to be part of major works:
- 8 hour days
- PPE provided
- Competitive rates
- Scope of Work: Fabrication and installation of nickel sulphate lagging/cladding
ABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role you must provide evidence of the following:
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate - preferred
- Current Working at Heights ticket - valid within 3 years
- High Risk WP licence
- Drivers Licence
- An Industry White or Blue Card
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal fabrication equipment such as folders, guillotine
- Work with varied materials - stainless and galvanised steel, aluminium
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Australian working rights
