To provide production assistance in our furnace manufacturing department, fabricating, and building both furnace components and complete units.
This niche role within our manufacturing team will suit an individual with strong attention to detail and a good work ethic, to suit a candidate who has a welding background, who prefers to fabricate different things daily and be part of a small but focused team supplying products to the global gold fire assay industry.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Be able to MIG weld
- Operating the bending and Guillotine machines
- Operation and use of hand tools both mechanical and electrical
- Operation and safe use of workshop machines ex. Pillar drill/grinders/notching/milling
- Interpreting and working to fabrication drawings files and work instructions
