Lumus Imaging has an exciting Tutor Sonographer role available for an experienced clinician, operating with professional independence and highly competent in delivering services within Ultrasound. The role entails providing expert advice, clinical leadership and managing a complex case load when performing clinical days. The Tutor Sonographer is also responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in the ongoing education and development of the qualified staff and student Sonographers. They will have the overarching responsibility for the training and supervision of trainee/ junior sonographers in the Central West region. The role will involve the education and up skilling of qualified staff required to ensure the operational demand of Regional sites is covered.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sonographer looking to take the next step in their career and manage a small team of dedicated and experienced individuals.
This opportunity has the flexibility of being full-time or part time and will work closely with management, physicians and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to quality improvement processes.
The role may be based from any of our Lumus Imaging sites at Dubbo, Mudgee or Orange with travel involved to our sister sites.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in General, Vascular, MSK, Interventional, O&G, and Small Parts
- Experience in providing quality patient care
- Ability to problem solve in a complex environment and provide high level training programs
- Current ASAR Registration
- Working with Children Clearance
- Appropriate Australian or New Zealand work visa
