About the Role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Wheel Alignments
- Identifying steering and suspension problems
- Inspecting brakes
- Removing and replacing tyres
- Diagnosing tyre damage & wear
- Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels
- Performing puncture repairs conforming to relevant standards
- Selecting correct tyres tubes and rims and accessories
- Providing high standard of customer service in a professionally presented environment.
- You will be required to work a 5 1/2 day roster - (Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 8.00am to 12.00pm).
Qualifications & experience
- Ideally a minimum 2 years experience in aligning and fitting, However training would be provided to candidates willing to learn.
- Have a passion for cars and the automotive trade.
- Must have current manual drivers license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Honesty and integrity
- Be proactive and have a cheerful "Can do" Attitude
- To be punctual & reliable
- To have good communication skills
- Must be able to work on Saturdays mornings
- Appropriate Australian working rights
- Willing to undertake ongoing training and development
- Must disclose any pre-existing injuries i.e.back injuries leg, knee etc. etc.
- Be able to supply references
