About the role
You’ll collaborate closely with Product, User Experience and Technology specialists to successfully execute on UI design, creating interfaces that are usable, accessible, on brand, and drive customer satisfaction across the growing digital product ecosystem.
You’ll be a founding team member of our new in-house design function, working on true ‘green field’ opportunities. You’ll have significant influence across all aspects of the newly created function – product, process, design system and design operations.
What you'll do
- Work alongside a Senior UX Designer in eliciting business requirements from Product Owners and mapping out high-level functional workflows
- Work alongside Product Management on a significant revamp of the Standards Australia Store, driving the transition from eCommerce single sale to a suite of subscription SaaS products
- Embrace SA store performance metrics and targets to drive design decisions
- Translate high level UX requirements into production ready UI designs, supporting development teams during the build phase
- Embrace revised brand territories and brand identity the Standards Australia Store
- Whilst evolving visual design, create a design system incorporating the revised brand
- You’re enthusiastic about the vision of your products, and you’re not afraid of the effort to get there
- Minimum of two years of experience in UX and/or UI design
- Experience working with industry standard tools for designing and testing user interfaces – i.e. Figma
- Experience working with project managers, business analysts and developers
- Experience working in agile delivery in a design role
- Technically fluent skills in digital: social, web, mobile, apps etc
- A demonstrated track record of working with engineering teams to deliver software
- Demonstrated stakeholder and relationship management
- Display an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
