Position: UX/UI/CX Designer
Contract Length: 3 Months
Location: Hybrid (Paramatta, NSW, and Remote)

Position Overview: As a UX/UI/CX Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and enhancing the user experience of our digital products. You will work closely with our client's development team to create intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing interfaces using Figma. Your work will ensure that users have a seamless and enjoyable experience with our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance the customer experience (CX).
- Design and deliver wireframes, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces using Figma.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.
Qualifications:
- Proven UX/UI/CX design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise.
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Experience with user research methodologies and data analysis.
- Ability to solve complex design challenges with creative, practical, and efficient solutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript is a plus
- Government experience
- Knowledge of, or experience with biology or environmental science
