The underground maintenance team at Granny Smith Gold Mine have an opportunity for an Electrical Coordinator to join Mining Maintenance team.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Superintendent: Maintenance you will be responsible for the coordination & compliance of electrical & dewatering maintenance work to all underground mine fixed infrastructure to meet current and anticipated demand in accordance with Gold Fields standards whilst maintaining strict compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements.

This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:
About you:
- Recognised A grade electrical workers Licence, in house nominee, HV appointed and hazardous area qualifications would be desirable
- Possess a HV Switching Certification
- Extensive demonstrated experience in a similar role with knowledge of mechanical principals, underground HV infrastructure and services including surface and underground dewatering systems, primary fans, paste and batching plants.
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have experience with PLC, VSD, SCADA, Telemetry, and networking systems.
- Previously Held the statutory electrical supervisor position in an underground mine
- Experience in managing contractor installations
- Experience in statutory electrical audits and working knowledge of applicable Australian Standards
