Karora Resources is a Canadian owned, multi-asset gold producer with operations across the Goldfields region of Western Australia. Our producing mining operations of Beta Hunt and Higginsville are supported by two processing facilities, one on site at Higginsville and our Lakewood plant located in Kalgoorlie, providing a combined processing capacity of 2.6Mtpa.
Due to ongoing expansion at our Beta Hunt Operations, we are looking for proactive Underground HD Fitters to join the Maintenance team.

THE OPPORTUNITY
- Experience in the maintenance and service of underground equipment in a Workshop and Underground environment
- Fault-finding and carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance
- Adequately adhere to maintenance schedules to minimise disruption to mine operations
- Actively drive and participate in maintenance planning activities
ABOUT YOU
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences
- Experience within underground mining or heavy industry environment.
- Experience working with CAT Trucks, Loaders, Graders, ITs, Sandvik Drills, Volvo Its & Normet Charge Wagon
- Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desired)
- Experience with CAT ET SIS Systems (desired)
- Excellent communication skills
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
