The Role
As an experienced Mine Surveyor, you will already understand the requirements and responsibilities of this role; plus be agile and resilient with a high attention to detail. Your extensive experience in underground, hard rock mining, along with your ability to decipher plans and work diligently in a fast paced environment is essential for you to hit the ground running from day one.
The Fundamentals
The ability to adapt to changing situations, jump between priorities and manage your own workload will be essential; although a high level of communication is required, you will work independently in your role. It's imperative you possess excellent communication, prioritisation and time management skills - let’s be honest, there’s a lot to achieve here in this scale-up business.
To succeed you need...
- Current South Australian driver’s license.
- Tertiary qualifications in Surveying.
- Underground mine surveying experience (plus open pit experience desirable).
- Competent in the use of Deswik. (highly desirable)
- Experience with laser scanners. (desirable).
- Competent with GPS and geotechnical monitoring systems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft software packages.
