Underwriter - Financial Lines

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Assess submissions, policy wordings, loss runs and financial reports to determine premiums
• Proactively advising, assisting, servicing and following up with clients on insurance and risk matters
• Cultivate relationships with brokers and clients, actively seeking new partnerships
• Making informed underwriting decisions aligned with the strategic direction of the portfolio

We are looking for someone with:

• Sound technical underwriting experience broadly across Financial Lines of business
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to creatively influence and negotiate with market stakeholders
• High level attention to detail, analytical skills and awareness of underwriting guidelines
• Confident communication skills and a desire to be market facing and develop your network
