The Role
The City of Whittlesea is experiencing rapid growth and we are looking for a Unit Manager of Digital Transformation to lead our team in implementing digital solutions to seize the opportunities we have. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing initiatives such as technical implementations, digitisation, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
About you
The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in Digital Transformation, demonstrating a proven track record in integrating the latest technologies to improve business operations. They exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, adept at steering teams towards achieving set goals effectively and efficiently. Their communication skills are top-notch, allowing them to manage stakeholder relationships seamlessly. With a strong capacity for analytical thinking and problem-solving, they tackle challenges head-on. They are well-versed in agile methodologies, with substantial experience in employing agile practices to enhance project delivery. The ability to discern business requirements and translate them into technical specifications is essential. Additionally, they are skilled in developing strategic roadmaps and keeping abreast of market trends through thorough research, ensuring that the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation.
